Meet the 2 Guys behind G2 Films (now you know how we arrived at the name!)
With over 50 years of combined marcoms, cinematography and business experience between them, Martin Davey and Martin Wise started the company over 11 years ago with the aim of becoming the go-to film production agency for our clients. The Martin’s (as they’re affectionately known) are responsible for not only the running of the company but also the creative direction of our teams on both sides of the Atlantic.
Darren is the go-to guy for all things visual effects, animation and 3D. With vast experience in running teams at Soho-based production houses, Darren brings innovation and flair to the G2Films production skillset. He has most recently worked on projects for United Imaging, Cognizant and CFoW.
Designer and animator extraordinaire. Holly’s work and creative eye is in great demand by our clients, including The Centre for Ecology and Hydrology and Centrica to name just a couple. The combination of great design, scrupulous attention to detail and her ability to creatively interpret a brief makes Holly a real asset to the G2 Films team.
Dale has that natural ability to take a brief, manage the technical aspect of the entire production and then come out at the end with something really memorable. Equally happy on set using the latest digital cinema equipment, as he is in the edit suite making all the pictures sing, Dale brings a love of the process to all of his projects.
One of the most recent recruits to the team, Harry looks after production management in our London office. Whether booking talent, securing location permits, rostering crew and equipment or just creating yet another amazing spreadsheet, his coordinating and planning skills are an integral part of all our shoots.
Based in London, Chris looks after our UK post production and works with the creative team to design and implement the best, most attractive and most effective house styles for our clients. Equally at home editing a broadcast commercial for Princess, creating the launch film for the latest Rolls-Royce or working on internal comms for Brewers, Chris is adept at creating individual films which truly resonate with the audience.
Ex digital editor at brands like Jimmy Choo and Harrods, Tara brings her content strategy, scriptwriting and copy skills to the G2 Films table. She works closely with our clients to develop bespoke content to augment their campaigns, often shoot produces on the day and then advices on channel delivery.
